An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Acute Oncology Nursing Team for a trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner. The post holder will be a member of the team responsible for triaging oncology patients and providing a direct/indirect out-reach acute oncology service for NHS Tayside. This team provides assessment and intervention for patients with cancer/treatment toxicity and works with patients and carers to, where appropriate, prevent or facilitate admission.
With support this role will require a level of level of autonomous working and effective teamwork and communication with a wide spectrum of multidisciplinary teams
The post holders will be directly responsible to and supported by the senior nurses in the acute oncology team.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register.
