Teacher of Physics NQT or experienced to start in September 2021

This opportunity is with an independent school situated in the heart of rural Hertfordshire set amongst period buildings which helps to set a wonderful backdrop for the working day. They are looking to appoint for a Teacher of Physics to start this coming September.

As a key member of the Science department you will be involved in developing schemes of work, the
delivery of lessons and the ongoing assessment of students' progress. It is expected that you will also participate in a number of school and departmental activities outside the timetabled teaching.

Responsibilities will include:

* Planning and preparing courses and lessons across KS3 to KS5 , A-level.
* Teaching, according to their educational needs, including the setting and marking of work
* Assessing, recording and reporting on the attainment, progress and development of pupils;
* Promoting the subject and the department within and outside the school.

This position would suite either a NQT or an experienced Teacher of Physics seeking an opportunity to truly influence the delivery of the subject and enhancing the learning of the pupils through your own passion and excitement for the specific subject matter.
