Commercial Account handler
Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is assisting a large, independent brokerage with a first class reputation to recruit an additional Commercial Account handler.
The key purpose of the role is to carry out the administration of clients' insurance requirements on a daily basis including general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations, closing sales, invoicing of premiums and cross-sales. You will be providing high level professional advice to clients for a mix of Commercial risks including Motor Fleet, Motor Trade, Marine and Transport/haulage.
You will liaise effectively with the Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal, attend client meetings as necessary. Undertake market exercise to establish most competitive terms available. Obtain renewal terms and present to client.
We are seeking applicants with Commercial broking experience who have a good level of technical insurance knowledge and excellent client service skills. You will have the ability to process work quickly and efficiently
With good accuracy and attention to detail.
This company will fully support your study for professional qualifications. Candidates must either be qualified to a minimum of Cert CII (or gain the qualification within 18 months of joining).
Our client is offering the chance for this to be a hybrid role between the office and home working. They are happy to agree any split as long as there is at least one day a week in the office.
