Job Details

Better Healthcare Services is a preferred provider with Bedford Borough Council and we are looking for Community Support Workers to join our ever expanding supportive team in the following geographical areas:
  • Bromham
  • Clapham
  • Elstow
  • Kempston/Bedford
  • Queens Park
  • Shortstown
  • Turvey
  • Wixham
  • Wooton

As part of this role you will be expected to support a variety of people within the local community, in their own homes. This can be assisting the Elderly, to those with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Diagnosis as well as Children with Complex Care Needs. Therefore this is varied and interesting role that will require you to be adaptable and empathetic with the ability to respond to changing needs. Experience is not required as full training will be provided however a caring and fun deposition is essential

*Providing personal care is essential for this role as well as being a driver with business insurance*

Working with elderly clients will also be essential.

Usual shift patterns are:
  • 7am till 2.30pm
  • 2.30pm till 10pm
  • Alternate weekends working are required
  • Also waking night shifts are available

The pay range is from £9 per hour up to £12 per hour.
