A rapidly growing media and advisory and events business in London is looking for Media Marketing Manager to join their growing team.

Reporting into the Managing Director of the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the overall marketing strategy for growing the value (both size and quality) of the audience across the Media portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Defining the target markets, market segmentation and brand positioning for each brand
  • and product in the portfolio
  • Defining, tracking and reporting on KPIs to measure performance across the portfolio, and creating strategies and tactics to consistently improve performance
  • Developing digital and data-driven techniques to further enhance target audience customer engagement and lifetime value
  • Defining and implementing a strategy for optimal use of owned social media channels to promote our media brands and distribute our content, while also ensuring in partnership with marketing colleagues that these channels are effectively supporting
  • marketing of SBC Events
  • Make recommendations with respect to the product (websites, branding, etc) that support marketing objectives, grow value

Your profile:

  • Experience in marketing (at least 3 years, ideally B2B)
  • Prior experience marketing for a primarily online media business
  • Experience in digital marketing (SEO/SEM, online advertising, newsletters, social media, data analytics, etc.)
  • Good writing skills
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
  • Ability to work independently, to take ownership of this area and take initiative
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets etc.) and presentation software (Powerpoint, etc.)

The salary: circa £50,000 + bonus and share options
