Who we are looking for
We are looking for a degree educated technical expert with 5-10 years' experience in trading to calculate transaction costs for all clients and pooled funds contracted with SSGA MIFID entities.
Experience of calculating transaction costs is essential, including dealing with both internal and external clients on requests and queries, delivering outstanding client service.
This is a hands on role where you will be working with large data sets across multiple asset classes.
The role sits within SSGA's Chief Administrative Office and based in London.

What you will be responsible for
As the SSGA MIFID Costs and Charges Disclosure Manager you will:
  • Be responsible for providing transaction cost analysis for all clients and pooled funds
  • Calculating quarterly transaction costs on pooled funds and annually for segregated funds
  • Analyzing and understanding the key drivers of reported trading costs
  • Being the main point of contact for both internal and external client queries
  • Oversee transaction costs production that has been outsourced
  • Working with IT on ensuring the cost calculation tool works effectively and accurately
  • Working closely with the Project Management Office and vendors in refining the operating framework for calculating and reporting transaction costs
  • Governance lead for Anti-Dilution mechanisms on SSGA pooled funds
  • Other Chief Administrative Office tasks

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Mathematics or Economics degree (2:1 or above)
  • Over 5 years' experience in Trading
  • Strong knowledge and experience of TCA
  • French speaking and writing a bonus
