An excellent opportunity to join a non-profit organisation as a Billings and Collections Manager. This is a permanent and full-time position, managing a small team of Accounts Receivable Officers and reporting directly into the Head of Finance.

Page Personnel are working with a non-profit organisation on a brilliant Billings and Collections Manager opening within their Finance Department. This large organisation works with families and individuals across the UK and has a positive impact on the communities it supports.

As Billings and Collections Manager, the successful applicant will oversee and manage all aspects of accounts receivable / sales ledger and credit control / income. Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to, managing all input to the sales ledger, ensuring work is evenly allocated and invoices are produced within the correct timescales; regular reconciliations and report writing; ensuring outstanding debt is collected in a polite and considerate manner; and liaising with a blend of private limited companies and Local Authorities / service user families.

As well as managing the Accounts Receivable function, the successful applicant will also be responsible for managing the small AR Team. This will involve hosting team meetings; developing individual staff members; to undertake and deliver relevant training; regular 121s with team members; and other staff management duties as required.


Candidates wishing to apply to this role should:
  • Have recently worked in a Billings / Collections / Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger / Income role;
  • Have recently worked in a relevant management / team leader / supervisory role;
  • Have a working knowledge of dealing with large data sets;
  • Possess an excellent computer literacy, including MS Excel;
  • Be able to work to manage their workload effectively;
  • Have brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal.
