Finance Manager job with an education organisation in Manchester paying up to £21 per hour.
Your new company
My client is a large education organisation based in Manchester. Due to the current post holder leaving the company they are recruiting this role initially on a temporary basis as they require an immediate start but this is a role that requires a permanent member of staff so it will be made permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and providing comprehensive financial support to a specific area of the organisation. This will involve producing monthly management accounts and providing commentary on this, analysing and reporting any variances and attending monthly senior management meetings to discuss the financial performance of your area of the organisation. You will also be responsible for budget setting, budget management and financial forecasting. You will have line management responsibility for 3 members of staff and will help to support them wherever required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience producing monthly management accounts as well as budgeting and forecasting in order to instantly add value to this position. Previous experience of people management would be advantageous but it is not essential. You will be either ACCA or CIMA qualified or will be in the final stages of your studies.
What you'll get in return
A salary paying up to £21 per hour dependant on experience. The opportunity to work with a growing organisation that can offer excellent scope for a permanent role and fantastic development and progression once permanent.
