Job Details

This is a trainee position within the Business Systems & IT team. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in IT, data and process. Some existing systems troubleshooting, GDPR knowledge and SQL experience would be beneficial.

Reporting into the Business Systems Manager this role covers two primary areas for which in house training will be provided, these are detailed below.

IT Support

This part of the role is responsible for working with the team and an external IT providers to provide local support for the systems and tools used within G2V. Communication is key to this role and there is an emphasis on communicating and working with external vendors and internal teams at a technical and non-technical level. You will be first point of contact for the team logging, triaging and escalating requests from the business.

You will be expected to monitor and identify repeating problems and business priorities and escalate these issues to the Business Systems Manager when SLAs are not being met.

Data Protection

This part of the role is responsible for working with the team and an external Data subjects to address Data Protection queries and requests. Communication is key to this role and there is an emphasis on communicating and working with external clients, customers and internal teams at a technical and non-technical level. You will be first point of contact for the team logging, triaging and escalating requests relating to data protection.

You will be expected to monitor and identify repeating problems and business priorities and escalate these issues to the Legal and Data Protection Contact when SLAs are not being met.

Business Analysis

This role is requires a keen understanding of the business and recruitment industry, this part of the role works closely with the business management and business at large. You will be working with the other departments to capture their business deliverables and who their customers are. Translating this information into a standard Service Catalogue template.

Please note the role is office based in Bristol with some travel required. No remote working option
