About The RoleAn opportunity has arisen within our growing in-house legal team for a Commercial Contracts Administrator to support in the review of contracts, Master Service Agreements and confidentiality agreements executed between Costello Medical and our clients and suppliers. It is anticipated that our contracting arrangements will become increasingly complex as the company continues to expand to markets such as China; we are looking for an individual excited by this prospect and keen to grow with the company.

You will take responsibility for
  • The tracking and monitoring of the progress of contracts to ensure that these are signed in the required time frames
  • Reviewing contracts, Master Service Agreements and confidentiality agreements, with support from senior colleagues
  • Liaising with internal project managers and providing guidance on the contracting process
  • Supporting senior colleagues within the legal team by monitoring compliance with contractual obligations and developing appropriate processes
  • Supporting with administration arising from business development activities
  • In time and with increased experience, communicating directly with our clients' procurement teams, which could involve promoting our services and negotiating terms to Costello Medical's benefit


RequirementsYou should be proactive and eager to take on new challenges, demonstrating a friendly, positive and "can-do" attitude. To be successful in this role you will need
  • An applicable degree level or higher qualification (minimum 2 1)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to review documents with a meticulous eye
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills to manage your own workload and prioritise accordingly
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service to our scientific team
  • Experience of dealing with clients in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries
  • Prior experience reviewing commercial contracts, such as Master Services Agreements, and other legal documents
