Belluzzo International Partners is hiring a Junior Accountant / Junior Tax Advisor in London.

The candidate will be required to show a certain degree of autonomy in managing a portfolio of clients (both private and corporate). He / she will be expected to manage the day-to-day activities and deadlines, liaising directly with clients and dealing with HMRC.

Job Title: Accountant / Tax Advisor

Reporting to: Senior UK Chartered Accountant / Senior Tax Advisor T.E.P.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours of work: Full-time position Monday to Friday (inclusive) 9:30am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch break

Salary: Depending on experience + annual discretionary bonus

Previous experience: 3+ years

Benefits: 28 days holiday per annum plus all public and bank holidays; contributory pension scheme; childcare vouchers, healthcare insurance.

  • Degree (Honours would be a plus)
  • Master's degree would be a plus
  • Qualified (or partially qualified) UK accountant / tax advisor
  • Minimum 3 years' experience on UK personal and corporate tax
  • Fluency in Italian would be a plus

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

The candidate will be in charge and/or will assist a Senior UK Chartered Accountant/tax advisor with the following:
  • Preparation of year end Accounts
  • Preparation of annual corporation / partnership tax returns
  • Preparation of personal tax return or any other UK personal tax compliance
  • Preparation of IHT returns
  • Preparation of Trusts accounts and tax returns
  • Ad-hoc administration duties as required

  • To anticipate as well as to respond to clients' needs and demands
  • Sharing of information with colleagues
  • To participate in the growth and development of the company

Marketing: Social and Technical
  • To be aware of the company's marketing strategies and represent the firm credibly in external dealings when required to do so
  • To attend conferences and seminars, join and participate in professional and other relevant organisations

Professional Standard
  • To work and behave in a professional manner and within the higher standards of the profession
  • Comply with procedures set out in the office manual
  • Treat all information about the firm and its client and their business as wholly confidential

  • Willingness, desire to help, flexibility and responsible approach
  • Good attendance and time-keeping
  • Accepting constructive criticism
