DWF's high profile Commercial Insurance Team is seeking to recruit a Solicitor or Associate / Senior Associate to be based in any of our North West offices. There has never been a more exciting time to join this growing and thriving team, in a business that is going from strength to strength. We're proud of our many long-term and exclusive client relationships and you will have the opportunity to work with these high-profile clients from day one, as well as get to work alongside some of the most highly respected experts in this industry. There's no denying this is a great opportunity for someone keen to work with and learn from the best.
The Commercial Insurance team at DWF provides high quality commercial advice on a wide range of matters to insurers, MGAs, loss adjusters and large corporates. Their expertise includes a wide range of commercial insurance disputes spanning damage, construction and engineering matters, and product liability disputes as well as policy indemnity disputes, criminal defence work and subrogated recoveries. This role will in particular focus on policy coverage, major property damage and business interruption of a high value/complex nature.
We are keen to hear from candidates (up to 8 or 10 years PQE or more) who share our values of teamwork and client focus. A commercial insurance and/or litigation background would be ideal, though we will also consider candidates with a background in other areas who possess relevant transferrable skills. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to plan and case manage their own case load as well as assist Partners and other colleagues on larger/complex claims. Candidates should be self motivated, performance driven and demonstrate good attention to detail and commitment to provide clients with high quality legal advice.
This role will provide the successful candidate with the chance to work alongside our Partners and other senior members of the team and can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.
