The Company
Based in Park Royal, London, the company is an eCommerce retailer and manufacturer of lightweight products. Products are produced on-demand daily and shipped out to customers all around the world.

The Role
The company is seeking to hire a Warehouse Operative capable of undertaking manufacturing activities. This involves managing machinery using computer software and following a strict set of workflows. The role involves:

- Setting up the production equipment and supplies before executing the works orders
- Operating equipment safely and effectively for production processing
- Following strict manufacturing guidelines and adhering to workflows
- Ensuring that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition
- Inspecting equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs
- Regularly checking raw material levels
- Performing regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality
- Performing and completing the assigned duties in timely manner
- Following safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
- Picking, Packing, Shipping and sorting customer orders
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

Job Requirements
The nature of the role requires applicants to have excellent computer skills. Candidates must demonstrate that even though they are not familiar with specific software, that they are able to grasp and learn it fast. Other essentials include:

- A conscientious, and hard working person who wants to do the best job they can
- Capable of reading and interpreting written instructions relating to both production procedures and health and safety
- Be able and willing to receive instructions in order to carry out structured tasks relating to machine operation
- Be computer literate - good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and a web browser. Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator is a bonus
- Ability to learn quickly and accurately with extreme attention to detail
- Well organised with good prioritisation skills
- A team player with ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
- Willingness to adapt to company culture and evolve
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality
