Bonfire recruitment is retained in the recruitment of a permanent and quality focused hands on Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer for a newly created outward facing EPC project management role.
We have an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager who has demonstrable working experience of working with heavy engineering works packages that would typically be found in an Oil & Gas, Process, Chemical, Utilities, Mining, Aggregates, Minerals, Water or similar heavy environments.
The purpose of this exceptional role is to take ownership of your your discipline specific, organised and highly capable project engineering teams to ensure bespoke multiple projects are completed on time, to specification and within budget consistently.
Due to the growth pattern of this significant engineering focussed organisation there is opportunity for this role to become the focal point for project managing multiple projects simultaneously with the opportunity to be developed into becoming the programme manager.
You will be commercially astute with strong communication and influencing skills.
The preferred candidate will meet the following minimum criteria:
•Studying for / fully qualified in PMP, APM , PMI , IPMA , PMQ or similar
•Experience of leading commercial engineering projects within an industrial environment
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management is essential
•Have at least 5 years demonstrable project engineering experience working with highly complex projects
•Have demonstrable project management experience in an engineering environment
•Experience handling customers and internal stakeholders professionally throughout the project lifecycle
•Experience with engineering layout operations and compliance
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
