Just Recruitment is currently looking for a Group Finance Assistant - to join a well-regarded organisation based on the outskirts of Colchester.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller - you will support with all finance related duties - being an integral part of the business.
Key Duties include:
*Booking sales, calculating and raising customer invoices.
*Processing and reconciling customer payments.
*Frequent internal communications with sales and administration teams re: queries and ensuring internal finance processes are followed.
*Reviewing supplier invoices and validating supplier terms of business.
*Frequent communication with agents and other external suppliers, dealing with invoicing and other related queries.
*Working with the Group Financial Controller to improve, implement and manage efficient bookkeeping processes and controls.
*Preparation of reports from financial data
*Preparation of information to support monthly management accounts
*Flexible in providing cover for other finance team members when absent/unavailable.
*Ensure all deadlines are always hit.
*Ensure all administration is kept up to date
*Relevant finance administration experience, at least two years' experience in a similar role.
*Excellent Excel and accounting software knowledge, preferably Xero but Sage as a minimum.
*Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
*Used to managing a high level of transactions.
*Excellent interpersonal skills in liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
*Good communication skills
*Flexible, energetic, and highly motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment.
Working Monday to Friday 9- 5:30
Due to company location - you must have access to your own transport.
