As a Band 5 Nurse delivering NHS services, you will receive AFC 20/21 salary including NHS pension and you'll also receive an additional 5% recruitment and retention allowance on top of your annual salary! You will be a registered Nurse with a keen interest in providing a healthcare provision for our patients within the custodial setting.
You will be required to work within the multidisciplinary team, assisting with the development of innovative practice. You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of holistic care packages. The Service covers 24 hours, 7 days a week. Services include Primary Care, Substance Misuse, Emergency Care and Elderly & Palliative.

* Adhere to medicines management related activities in accordance with Virgin Care's medicines policy to ensure the safe, legal and appropriate use of medicines.
* Attend appropriate training and maintain competencies in all relevant areas.
* To treat all patients as individuals, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times.
* To assess individual care needs, implement and evaluate holistic programmes of care.
* To undertake any such other duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with responsibilities of the post.
