Frontend Developer Angular / Typescript // 50% remote
Location: Derby, 50% remote
Salary: Up to £40K
You probably chose to be a dev because you love solving problems, and to be honest a lot of the problems in tech are insanely interesting but they're not all big or complex.
Perhaps over time as your skills have grown you've come to appreciate bringing simplicity to complex scenarios and enjoy solving big problems?
There are hundreds of companies, corporations and start-ups out there claiming to be solving businesses or life's big issues, with world beating or industry leading software, solutions and yada yada yada, but few of them are already doing it. Certainly not at scale.
Here you'll work in a tech team that's bolstered by teams across the world in Asia, North America and the UK, finding new and existing customers who can find real value in the web apps you'll build.
Whether it be a specific app or project for a particular customer or contributing to projects adding value to wider business communities and clusters of the customer base, there will always be opportunities to vary exactly what you do down the line.
That's not to say you'll work here the rest of your career, but don't be surprised if they keep you engaged for a good while.
A number of the solutions already on offer, from video streaming, projection, display and the hardware that underpins those, has seen increased popularity because of the pandemic and its impacts.
You'll help deliver exhilarating experiences at huge sporting and entertainment events, assist governments in overcoming the communication challenges of the 21st century and deliver peace of mind to service users in unique security projects.
There have, and will continue to be, opportunities to adapt their efforts towards building new features and functionality in new and existing products and services for their global customers. Those customers' needs vary massively across industries and geographies, meaning they can be both urgency and variety at times in some of the work you'll do.
The main skills they're looking for - as the job title suggests - are Angular and Typescript. But they will also consider people with one of those who have good familiarity with C# and things like DI / IoC Containers, WebAPIs and things like automation testing or CICD and deployments.
So, if you're looking for a new challenge, aren't treated very well or appreciated or ya just like the sounds of what's going down here, please reach out or apply
