Scrum Master

Our client, A leading global supplier for IT services, requires a Scrum Master with 4-10 years' experience to join their team in their clients' office in London You can work remotely until Covid abates.

This is 6 months temporary contract, to start 6th April 2021.

The right candidate must have minimum 2 years of real hands-on Scrum Master experience (i.e. not just re-badged to be Scrum Master), with cross-functional teams working on emergent platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transforms the scrum team to become self-organising
  • Guides the team to work at a sustainable pace to allow for continuous delivery
  • Builds a trusting and open environment with emphasis on problem solving
  • Educates the Product Owner around refining product backlog
  • Ensures the team builds relationships to promote internal and external communication

Key Requirements:
  • 4-10 years' experience
  • Experience of successful Scrum adoption
  • Knowledge of modern development practices and tools for example -XP, TDD, Continuous integration, build agent etc
  • Experience of changing organisational\team\department mind-sets, culture and structure
  • Experience of coaching cross-functional teams into high performing teams
  • Understanding and experience of applying empirical process control
  • Deep understanding of the Agile Manifesto and principles
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, CSP)
  • Experience of automated testing frameworks
  • Experience and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience of building a culture of transparency within feature teams by empowering individuals and inspiring collaborative team performance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability clearly communicate complex technical concepts to colleagues,up to senior leadership level
  • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
