New 12 month FTC job for a Telecoms BSS Integration Engineer to be based in Basingstoke

Your new role
The role sits works within the Technical Delivery section of the client's Emergency Services Network Mobilisation programme. The Mobilisation phase builds the systems and services required for the Network, integrates the systems and services and then prepares the systems and services for operational management. The role will support the delivery of an integrated User Portal and Request Fulfilment solutions for the Business Support System (BSS) project, responsibilities will include:
a) Supporting delivery of Catalogue, Ordering and Provisioning solutions (APIs and Web applications based)
b) Strong exposure to Identity management solutions, with a keen eye on information and access security
c) Support Technical Issue resolution and root-cause analysis
d) Impact assessments on change requests with Customer and Supplier
e) Support technical and operational transition of a fully integrated BSS solution to downstream organization, to include, but not limited to; the test, service transition and operations teams
f) Hands-on experience with IT (Linux OS) systems and API interfaces

What you'll need to succeed
The role requires SME ownership of BSS applications and its IT interfaces so candidates need hands-on expertise with integration technologies. You will have strong exposure to low-level solution, integration, and deployment designs. Prior experience of large-scale system integrations project. Performing technical Issue resolution and root-cause analysis (RCA). Direct interfaces with internal and external (Supplier) technical stakeholders. Prior experience in Order management and Provisioning solutions.. Identity Management, API and Web application experience and hands on Linux OS experience.
