Are you an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in supporting switches, routers and firewalls? Do you obtain a CCNA, or studying towards this qualification? Harvey Nash has partnered with a forward thinking, public sector organisation that is undergoing a period of exciting transformation and expanding their workforce, and now looking for like-minded, passionate individuals to join them on this journey.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the support and improvement of internal network infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to drive material changes to the way Network Services are managed and delivered across this estates, and also undertake operational tasks across a number of critical networking and associated elements.

You will be joining a multi-skilled Network Services team which is responsible for providing the business critical IT network and telephony infrastructure that supports and underpins the core systems.

The right candidate will need:

• A good technical background and knowledge in various Network products - Cisco IoS is key.
• Configuration, deployment, administration, maintenance of edge wired and wireless networking infrastructure
• Routing, Switching experience
• A CCNA or studying towards this qualification
• Strong communication skills and able maintain great enthusiasm throughout.
