EYFS Teaching Assistant

Stockon - on - Tees

£9.77 Per Hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Level 2 in Childcare (or equivalent)

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Stoskton-on-Tees. This is a full -time primary support role, working within an early years setting, which will commence in September 2021 until Februart 2022.

The role

Working as part of a large, dedicated early years team, the desired Teaching Assistant will focus on delivering phonics interventions to small groups as well as providing general classroom support for both morning and afternoon nursery sessions. The chosen teaching assistant will idealy have experience of working within the early years, and good knowledge of the early years curriculum.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools.
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an EYFS environment.
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Have experience in a primary environment.
Ideally have experience delivering Reading and Writing interventions.
