Vehicle Technician

A Family-Run Independent Garage are seeking a full time Vehicle Technician to join their Independent Automotive Business in the Balsall Common Area.

Our client's focus is on their people, they know that to keep this level of success they need a strong team in place and they believe heavily in nurturing their staff and providing them with all the support you'll ever need on a daily basis.

Our Client is offering the successful Vehicle Technician:

* A competitive Basic Salary of up to £28,000 dependant on experience

- Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm with rotational Saturday mornings (every other)

Duties of a Technician:

* Carrying out service & repair checks

* Diagnosis and Fault-Finding

* Automotive electric experience

* Completion of work assigned in a timely manner, to company standards

* To transport vehicles to and from customers and wherever else required

* To ensure the company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained at all times

Expectations of Technician:

* You will have achieved NVQ level 3 in Car and Light Commercial Maintenance and Repair or equivalent through other qualifications and or experience.

* Minimum 3 years working experience within the industry.

* MOT tester licence would be preferred but not essential

* A strong understanding of a mechanical workshop, including servicing and maintaining vehicles to the manufacturer's specification. Ability to work with your own initiative.

* Ability to work within a small team and understand the need to assist colleagues when required

* Punctuality, time keeping and ability to work under pressure

* The ability to work efficiently as an individual but also as part of a team

* Full UK Driving Licence
