Corporate Accountant - Investment Management Recently Qual

A rapidly growing pan-European real estate investment manager with investments in Europe. The business has grown rapidly expanding, having completed a number of impressive deals and is looking to hire a corporate Accountant.

The company is a boutique giving the successful candidate the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the entire company as the investment portfolio grows and to get involved with the multitude of investments taking place. Initially taking on a finance remit before taking on commercial responsibilities.

We are looking to hear from recently qualified accountants from practice with experience of accountants preparation or already industry in a broad accounting role - who are looking to join a growing firm and be part of their success story.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly board packs
• Preparation and review of statutory accounts under IFRS/FRS 102
• Setting up internal processes and controls to enable best practices
• Liaising with the outsourced fund administrators on pan-European subsidiary accounts
• Management of the year end audit process
• Assisting with statutory financial reporting
• Involvement in fund accounting to assist with purchase orders, reconciliations and bank compliance
• Preparation of multicurrency cash flow forecasts
• Maintaining multicurrency bank reconciliations and payments
• Review and recommendation of invoices for payment approvals
• Responsible for accounts receivable functions of the business
• Maintaining an accurate and up to date financial system (Xero)
• Liaising with external payroll provider to process monthly payroll
• Responsible for the expense claim system
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Preparation of multicurrency cash flow forecasts

Given the nature of the role we are looking to hear from recently qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) who are looking for a step up in responsibility and long term career progression.
