The Company

An experienced Graphic Motion Designer is wanted by my client on a full-time basis to enhance its creative team. They want to bring visual ownership to how the brands they create come to life through motion and interaction. This is achieved by always questioning, evolving and growing as a creative team and bringing new skill sets to our already dynamic team is vital to keep driving our client's disruptive brands forwards. The client is looking for someone who is has a fearless creative flair, love to experiment, push the boundaries and challenge the conventions.

The Role

The role involves crafting compelling narratives through scripting, storyboarding and stylistic approach, pitching and designing key frames and approaches to motion that will elevate our brands, championing interaction design within our design systems, collaborating with colleagues, copywriters, sound engineers and clients to deliver remarkable motion design, ability to clearly communicate ideas that realises an organisation's potential through motion and movement.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Bring ideas and expertise in motion design to the existing creative team
  • Work with the Creative Director and Senior Designer to formulate, create and deliver international brand identities
  • Have the ability to design beautifully sculpted brand visual identities and bring the flair of motion to the core brand identity
  • Focus on bringing the personality of a brand to life
  • Craft compelling narratives through scripting, storyboarding and stylistic approach
  • Pitch and design key frames and approaches to motion that will elevate our brands
  • Championing interaction design within our design systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues, copywriters, sound engineers and clients
  • Present your ideas to a client with the same energy as your animation imparts
  • Deliver pixel perfect design assets

Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • At least 3 years previous experience in an agency with examples of motion design in use
  • Experience working directly with enterprise brands or household names in either B2C or B2B contexts
  • Ability to manage your own time and deliver on time for project reviews
  • A solid understanding of core Graphic Design principles
  • A proven track record of delivering graphic design and motion design projects to a high level
  • Superb attention to detail and ability to scamp your ideas and designs
  • Pixel perfect, creative thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative suite
  • Strong Adobe Suite skills

  • Experience in delivering client presentations
  • Curiosity, infectious enthusiasm and a love for the moving image
  • Experience of mixing motion graphics and film would be a bonus
  • An understanding of how motion works across web environments
  • If you can use GSAP this would be a major bonus
