Solutions Architect

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

• Design and deliver a Windows 10 and modern deployment, monitoring and self-healing platform
• Delver the rugged handheld Android device strategy

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

· Have Solution Architect experience and the implementation of large hardware (non network) refresh programme

· Work with Engineering teams to drive a Window 10 adoption plan

· Recommend and design modern tooling and practices to maximise system availability

· Experience in using store infrastructure as local distribution model for other end points eg digital signage, local cloud

· Experience in how hardware supports online and offline capability

· A hands on resource to translate the Solution Architect vision into meaningful engineering Epics and Features

· Experience in JIRA

- Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it):

· Work closely with 1 Product Owner and 3 Principle Engineers

Key Skills/Knowledge:

· Delivery experience of Windows 10 device builds, drivers, Java versions, Anti virus software

· Integration of hardware into CI/CD pipelines

· Experience in SCCM/InTune

· Experience in solutions to diagnose issues and self heal without user intervention

· Experience in store networks both physical and WiFi

· Opinionated and passionate about platforms and infrastructure

Experience required:

· Have Architect experience

· Experience working with Engineering teams
