Digital Marketing Manager at Goho - Full time, permanent £25k-£30k dependent on experience, plus bonus of £6k pa (OTE).

Start date - 19th April 2021

Do you have experience leading social media campaigns, especially B2B and love working with small businesses and start-ups?

We're looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Manager to join the Delivery team at Goho to take the lead on content planning and development across our social channels as well as managing client's delivery needs, from planning at pitch stage, through to creating a strategy, and delivering their campaigns, for both projects and retainers.

You'll be joining a busy department with the goal of:

• Leading campaign and daily content planning for both Goho and our clients

• Delivering a good ROI for our clients, from writing blog posts, managing their paid social media, organic social media, virtual events and digital marketing campaigns

• Growing Goho's influence and brand awareness, particularly amongst SMEs

You'll be a senior member of the delivery team, with a Social Media Assistant and Intern to support your work. Goho is a boutique communications agency, we're rapidly growing and have on-boarded over 20 new clients since the beginning of 2021. If you're a creative thinker who enjoys helping small businesses grow, with a knack for developing engaging content that converts, then this would be a great time to join us.

We're usually based in central London, but due to the pandemic we're currently working from home and will be for the foreseeable future. As a result, we're open to people applying from anywhere in the UK and would welcome applications from those with diverse backgrounds.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering and further developing Goho's Marketing Strategy and for developing and delivering our client's social media strategies and managing their platforms and delivery.

Reporting into - Managing Director

Working hours - 40 hours per week, generally Mon- Fri 9am-6pm with a 1 hour lunch break Evening and weekend work may be required as per client's requirements

Working from Home or office / client site on occasion

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the MD and wider team to develop and deliver an effective marketing strategy to drive new business revenue and increase market awareness through the adoption of a multi-channel strategy based on research, planning and delivery against key agreed targets for both Goho and our clients. This includes, but is not limited to:

Marketing Activation & Production
  • A social media expert with the ability to hit the ground running and immediately develop existing plans on all major platforms as well as identifying new opportunities
  • Manage all aspects of production, receipt and distribution of marketing material
  • Deliver all marketing activities within the agreed budget and within agreed sustainability criteria
  • Support Business Development team with production of sales collateral and marketing campaigns
  • Manage all client social media accounts, posting, and responding to all comments, growing following and interaction
  • Account manage client relationships
  • An eye for detail and design and participate as a team member in order to widen skills through working with colleagues and clients

Promotion & Development of the Goho Brand
  • Promote the Goho point of difference - key attributes, policies and values
  • Work with the PR executive to achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage for Goho.
  • Promote, develop & expand Goho's services
  • Use social media to promote Goho's services, PODs, and generate leads for commercial gain. Use all platforms to an exceptional level, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram Twitter, Tiktok

Business Development & Research

Working to the agreed marketing plan you will:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities, sectors and competitors to enhance and further develop the marketing plan
  • Evaluate research, sector conditions and competitor data to implement marketing plan alterations as needed.
  • Drive warm incoming enquiries and new business leads for the business development team
  • Promote and expand Goho's client and supplier base
  • Actively identify marketing and promotion opportunities.
  • Coordinate market research to identify interest and uptake for current and future services
  • Create & maintain a network of contacts within the media and suppliers

General
  • To contribute to Goho projects as directed by the MD.
  • Support the MD in rapid and accurate response to any email queries and contribute to client care.
  • Manage any interns, including their onboarding and training process.
  • Manage the smooth running of the business, in the absence of the MD and HME.
  • To identify and share any opportunities which could enhance Goho's commercial performance to the HBD or MD.

Knowledge and experience

Essential

• Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience

• Minimum of two years' experience in digital marketing

• A passion and proven track record in social media promotion and activity at all levels and

an appetite to maintain this excellent knowledge to stay ahead of the curve in this field

• Experience of developing and managing external partnerships in the delivery of projects

• Expertise in both organic and paid social media marketing

• Experienced content creator (Copywriting and Image/Video)

Experienced proofreader

• Appreciation of the nature of accountability, ethics, targets and outcomes

• Understanding of Marketing Funnels and how to implement them to deliver customer sales

• Understanding of social media strategy and analysis

• Community management experience

Strong analytical skills

Desirable

• Marketing or communications background degree and further relevant qualifications

• SEO experience

• PPC

• Familiarity with using Contact Management systems/databases

• Experience of developing marketing strategies and identifying new areas of growth / income / exposure.
