Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Our Manufacturing client have a truly exciting opportunity for and Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work at their Site in Bodmin. This is a permanent job and will require you to work part of a solid team of Engineers to maintain machinery and ensure the smooth running of production.

IMPORTANT: This role is days based working 4 on 4 off from 5:30AM-5:30 PM

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Key Accountabilities/Tasks include:

* Assessing project requirements

* Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines

* Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers

* Provides fault diagnosis, solutions and repair in /on areas of machinery and plant such as machinery breakdown; runability and safety related to maintenance work.ie provides any engineering resources for the continued operation

* Comprehensive recording of all necessary information

* Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques

* Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Essential attributes/Skills/Qualifications:

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

* 4+ years' experience in similar role

* Experience with PLCs complex fault finding is essential

* 17th edition or 18th edition is essential

* Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
