Your new role
Long term role to start after Easter to support the Behaviour Manager with students with a variety of special educational needs including SEMH and challenging behaviour. This role is likely to last until the end of the academic year. The role is based partly in the Inclusion room but will also involve escorting students who have been sent out of the classroom, de-escalating and supporting them with pre-set work.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working with secondary aged pupils either in a school setting or other environment and will have a calm , patient nature and the ability to support young people and encourage them to re-engage.
