I am urgently recruiting a Senior Front-End Developer on behalf of a leading provider of skilled business services to the legal and financial industries. My client is a forerunner of its sector and boasts an impressive client base of blue chip FTSE100 and Fortune 500 companies.

As Senior Front-End Developer, you will join a dedicated Web Development Team within a fast-growing technology function. You will work on all stages of the software development lifecycle, using latest technologies to build bespoke client facing development projects and internal platforms.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop code as per the specifications and coding standards
• Liaise with senior project stakeholders both verbally and in writing
• Production of detailed technical design documentation & estimates
• Implementing unit tests
• Ensure all code passes unit testing with appropriate code coverage
• Review Pull Requests of other team member's code
• Provide feedback on process to refine where necessary

Experience:

• JavaScript including, jQuery, vanilla ES5 and ES2015+
• HTML5, including knowledge of the full range of language features
• CSS
• Cross-browser compatibility testing and development
• Accessibility and usability (WAI, WCAG, ARIA)
• CSS pre-processors (e.g. Sass, Less)
• Git and the Gitflow workflow
• TDD / BDD and testing frameworks (such as Jest, Jasmine, Chai, Karma, PHPUnit, Behat or Selenium)
• Build tools such as Gulp or Webpack
