PE Teaching Assistant/Instructor


April Start

An outstanding Special Needs School in South West London is recruiting an experienced PE Instructor for a long-term on-going role. The post starts in April 2021 and is for the full academic year. Working hours are 8.20am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The selected applicant will work across 2 sites teaching PE to children aged 2-19, with EHCPs for ASD, SLD, PMLD and social and communication difficulties. As well as a varied curriculum, they also offer a range of therapies and extra-curricular activities.

The selected applicants will have previous SEN experience, especially with ASD and physical difficulties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in SEN to join a professional team. Ideally you will have previous experience teaching PE to a high standard and can motivate children of all abilities. You will create fun and engaging lessons and have a positive and helpful attitude.

Successful candidates have a caring, calm personality with a keen interest to progress in the field of SEN.
