Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a Lead Tutor who can manage the ESOL, Maths and English programme across the Solent Region, in Portsmouth and Southampton.

About the role
Our tutors are the public face of the organisation, but they are far more than just teachers. Encouraging and supporting students as equals, they build their confidence, knowledge and skills, actively enrich their lives and do whatever it takes to help them get wherever they want to go. With a focus on ESOL, Maths and English, you will make sure that all our tutors operate to their full potential as you mentor and motivate a regional team, focusing on performance management, recruitment and training. In particular, you will contribute to curriculum development, curriculum monitoring, management of accredited courses, champion continuous improvement and build digital resources and other learning tools - so you will be at the heart of our life-changing mission.
A skilled ESOL, Maths and English tutor, you will be capable of coaching colleagues to release their full potential and passionate about transforming futures. Dedicated to innovation and inclusion; you will be able to learn fast to ensure high quality EME provision; promoting both blended learning and face to face provision.
Closing date will be 11th April, however, we reserve the right to close this early if we get enough suitable applicants.
