The Dragonfly Agency are looking for an enthusiastic bright spark to join us on a fixed term contract (maternity cover). The ideal candidate must have a flair for client and team management and is passionate about omni marketing campaigns and how print plays an important part of that journey.

The Account Director reports to the Managing Director and is primarily responsible for managing the client services team and ensuring they maximize revenue opportunities. The job requires a combination of account management, team leadership and business development.



• Understand and recommend direct marketing campaigns for acquisition and retention purposes

• Confident in data, PAM, D2D, DM strategies

• Work closely with Business Development team and Client Services team to traffic opportunities and convert and run new jobs

• Financially savvy with strong business acumen - knows how to confidently propose ideas and negotiate profitable jobs

• Support and contribute to agency growth via digital and omni marketing ideas and solutions

People management

• Mange the growth and development of the busy CS team members; providing guidance, training, mentoring and advice

• Promote Dragonfly vision, values and strategic objectives internally and externally

• Coaching each member of the CS team and ensuring they are achieving their personal goals and targets

Client management

• Clearly understanding clients' objectives and develop direct mail and marketing strategies that are aligned to a clients' needs and ambitions

• Act as the go-to person for account management and industry knowledge (including ISMS, GDPR, Royal Mail, JIC, DMA, and suppliers)

• Run client campaigns where necessary

• Maintain financial control of accounts, reporting, as well as overseeing project allocations

• Diplomatic, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

• Experience managing a team of people

• Strong print and direct mail back ground

• Good understanding of omni channel marketing and interaction

• Fantastic commercial acumen
