Great opportunity for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join one of leading space and defense companies' world-wide. This is SATCOM working environment is dedicated to development and implementation of SDRs for the UK government.

You'll be involved in the most cutting edge projects and work with the industry leaders in the defense industry. As a successful Firmware Engineer you'll have the ability to progress within the business and work within various business areas.

As a Senior Firmware Engineer you will:

• Develop and implement satellite and communication systems
• Build/ write procedures for internal and external use
• Test products, while applying corrective action/ process improvement/ risk analysis
• Create and simulate prototypes
• Creating requirements list for internal and external use

The successful Senior Firmware Engineer will have the following:

• 3+ years working with FPGA in a professional environment
• Proficient with designing tools such as Modelsim and ability to resolve issues using tools like ChipScope
• Ability to program boards while using VHDL

Ability to obtain SC clearance

You may also have:

• Experience in one or more of the following development tools; MATLAB/ Simulink, HDL or JIRA.
• 5+ years working as a Firmware Engineer
• Ability to use simplified English
