Year 4 Teacher
Full-time Year 4 teaching post commencing May 2021 for a Bacup Primary school.
Due to a member of staff taking early retirement, the Head Teacher of this popular Bacup Primary School is seeking to appoint a Year 4 teacher. Due to the quick turn around, the role will begin on an intially temportary basis before being made permenant after one successful term.
- Paid on the teachers' pay scale MPS-UPS
- Full-time position
- Highly supportive Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team
The school is an average sized primary with good facilities and is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Since appointing a new Senior Leadership Team four years ago, the school has made notable improvements and now boasts a positive reputation within the local community. The Head Teacher is popular amongst staff and has been described as 'approachable' and 'fair', with a genuine interest in the wellbeing and development of staff. The wider team are welcoming, dynamic, and of a very high calibre. Although behaviour across school is generally good and standards are set high, it is paramount that the appointed practitioner is confident in following the school's well established behaviour policy.
To be successful in this role:
- A Class Teacher with experience of teaching within Key Stage 2
- A fully or newly inducted Primary Teacher
- Hard working, organised and committed to raising standards
- Able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
