Year 5 Teacher - Full time - Maternity cover - Easter 2021 start until July 2021 - Hounslow, West London!
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a full time year 5 teacher to take over for maternity cover. Currently the school have plans in place for the next academic year but there is the possibility of continuing if successful. This role will be starting after the Easter holidays until the end of the academic year.
This large four form entry school has created a enriching community based setting. This large school has a new and advanced school setting and facilities, this includes an advanced SEN unit attached to the school. They have focused on creating a positive learning environment that embraces students and staff from all backgrounds and of all abilities. The school does have a high number of EAL students and have a number of specialised members of staff that provide specialist support helping them to engage within the school community and develop their knowledge.
The school has a large onsite car park but is a short 5 minute walk from the town centre, being easily accessible by a number of train and bus services.
With a teacher going on maternity leave shortly after their return from the Easter break, they are looking for a confident and experienced teacher to take over their year 5 class. The role itself will consist of planning and preparing the lesson activities, you will receive guidance from the other class teachers and their year lead. The school is looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt to each student's needs.
The class has roughly 30 students, of a mixture of abilities this includes a number of students with special educational needs. There is an experienced teaching assistant that works within the class that will help to bridge the gap between the previous teacher.
