Job Details

We are recruiting for a 3rd Line Senior IT Engineer to join our team, based at our Head Office in Basingstoke.

We provide the traditional on-premise and cloud-based IT Support that other Managed Service Providers do, but what sets us apart from many of them is we also install and manage Wi-Fi solutions, 3CX and Mitel phone systems, CCTV, in-room TV entertainment, PCI-DSS compliance, door access control and lots more. We see more and do more in a week than other engineers at other companies probably do in months.

Your role would include:
  • Project work - installing and implementing computer solutions and services.
  • Support - to take support calls from our customers in accordance with the prevailing escalation and resolution procedures in our Helpdesk system.
  • Design - producing analysis, reports and solutions.
  • Documentation - producing customer documentation as required.
  • Customer and supplier management - liaising with customers and suppliers, escalating issues as appropriate.

Due to the type of clients we support, we provide inclusive out of hours IT support cover for critical issues, which you would join on a weekly rota basis.

We have a number of shift times available you can choose from, and you would cover an 8 hour day on one of these patterns:
  • 7:00am-4:00pm weekdays
  • 8am-5pm weekdays
  • 9am-6pm weekdays
  • 10am-7pm weekdays

The role would be predominately office-based from Basingstoke, but you must hold a valid driving license since travel may on occasion be required to our customers.

If you have previous experience of providing IT support and services to the hospitality sector this would be advantageous. Experience of installing & configuring Windows, vSphere ESXi and local area networks is essential. If you know Mitel and 3CX all the better. We spent thousands of pounds a month of best-of-breed technology to give us the best tools for the job, so we use Connectwise, Automate, ITGlue, Webroot, Office 365, Watchguard, 3CX and Solarwinds Backup.

In return, we offer a competitive salary between £24,000 - £30,000 depending upon experience.
