Can you build, evolve, and maintain a global retailer's cloud platform (AWS)?

This well-known business is a year into their AWS journey working closely with a first-class consultancy. With the foundations taking shape, we are looking build the long-term internal capability of the Cloud Services team by recruiting a team of Cloud Platform Engineers with varying levels of experience as the team takes expands.

You'll work in remote (home-based) Agile delivery team which are working to build a genuinely world-class technology environment which can enable the business to achieve their cutting-edge customer-centric strategy.

The systems and platform teams are operating from almost a greenfield state. These roles will also be heavily involved in the architecture and design of the platforms and roadmaps associated.

What experience is required in the team?

• Hands-on Cloud platform experience (AWS)
• Experience designing and delivering cloud platforms with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles (Terraform)
• Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• A good understanding of Cloud Security features and models
• A good understanding of Cloud design and architectural patterns

The role will suit a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or a SRE (Site reliability engineer) that is interested in AWS and serverless infrastructure.

The role is totally remote based, any travel to the office which would be rarely will be paid for by the business. So we will consider a variety of UK based locations.

Leeds, York, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield, London and many more.
