Software Engineer - PHP

A leading UK FinTech are looking for numerous Software Engineers (Mid to Senior) to join their scaling Engineering team in London (currently all fully remote). The mission of the company is simple - creating products that make it easy to lend and invest in property. They are backed by some huge investors too which puts them in a strong position to grow further.

This is a tech driven company, with the Engineering team accounting for over a quarter of the workforce. This team is split into six cross functional teams, led by product managers and working on numerous greenfield projects (project focus dependent on what part of the product you're working on). They run a microservice architecture on a modern infrastructure, leveraging modern tools and frameworks with a product led-roadmap that results in code being released to production several times a day.

Ultimately, you will be helping to build the backend systems alongside automating the internal processes to ensure quick responses and solid user experience. Testing is a really important part of the business and they strongly believe this makes great software.

Tech stack (not limited to):
PHP7, Symfony, Node.js, AWS, Docker, PHPUnit, Jenkins, BDD, TDD, MySQL, Kubernetes.

This is a great opportunity to work on greenfield projects in a highly collaborative environment, working alongside great Engineers and progressing your career as the business rapidly scales. You will have the opportunity to mentor and coach, using your expertise to lead projects and Engineers.
