The business is a leading financial services enterprise who have large growth ambitions in a fast-growing market. With a large amount of investment behind them, considerable growth throughout this year and a new product ready to develop and launch, they are now looking for a Web Developer to join their team.

The business is looking for a Web Developer to join their web development team to work on a range of projects. You will have the opportunity to advise and contribute to the business's technical direction and constant evolution of their agile working practices. You will also be responsible for the build and operation of their group websites, portals, tools and API as well as being given the opportunity to mentor and train junior developers.

This is a challenging but rewarding role, with several exciting projects and partnerships to work with across both startups and large companies. You will be instrumental in shaping and delivering as the business continues its digital transformation.

This role would suit a Web Developer who is now looking to take the next step in their career and wants to get involved in supporting and mentoring junior developers to step into a Team Lead role. The business is looking for a developer with experience of planning, building and running web-based solutions and all the auxiliaries that come with a modern web stack and workflow. The business values the importance of great quality code, solid technical foundations and re-usability.

What are we looking for:
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • HTML experience
  • CSS experience
  • SQL experience
  • Demonstrate good software principles
  • Experience in either Angular, React or Vue
  • Previous experience or demonstrated desire to coach and mentor junior developers
