Linux DevOps Engineer Cambridge to £75k

Linux DevOps Engineer *Remote Interview WfH*. Do you have expertise with Linux? You could be progressing your career at one of the world's most advanced Cyber Security technology companies, their suite of AI driven Cyber Security products use cutting edge Machine Learning and mathematics to protect against an array of threats for clients worldwide.

As a Linux DevOps Engineer you'll collaborate with some of the technical founders of the business to enhance the platform; providing stability, pipeline automation and low level debugging. You'll partner with the DevOps engineering team and coordinate input from multiple development processes, provide mentorship, advice and debugging as part of small, highly technical team.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with a gradual return to their custom built offices; in time you'll be based in Cambridge (about a 20 minute walk from the local station and with regular shuttle bus; there's also parking available); there's a range of perks including free top quality catered lunch every Friday, social activities ranging from sports to board game nights; breakout areas and solo pods.

  • Strong Linux engineering experience with a good working knowledge of low level Linux, Linux Kernel
  • Able to script to automate solutions to common problems
  • Good working knowledge of configuration management tools
  • Collaborative with good communication skills
  • Degree educated, Computer Science or closely related discipline (STEM)
