Oracle HR and Payroll Functional Consultant opportunity in Rushden

We are currently looking to recruit an HR and Payroll Functional Consultant whose purpose is to provide necessary functional support of the ERP solution for HR and Payroll allowing the business continued effective use of the Oracle ERP system. This includes a requirement to monitor performance, prioritise and manage changes, manage defects and incidents, ensure maintenance of all documentation for area. The role includes all interfaces and related applications and contribute with new ideas for continuous improvement to create improved stability and functionality. Work with Group Functions, Kier IT and users representing business functions to develop functional requirements, assess change proposals and lead the delivery of new developments to deliver approved changes. You will also support testing and issue resolution during User Acceptance testing and manage business change initiatives (e.g. design, walkthroughs, requirement gathering, impact analysis). In addition you will input to prioritisation of small changes and project work and support lifecycle application requirements and analysis of functional impact.

You will need at least 5 years of experience in functional support of Oracle ERP applications for relevant area and knowledge of working with and challenging ERP software vendors. Familiarity with working with outsourced/offshore resources as well as having worked within multi-function ERP functional development and support teams is an essential part of this role.
