Job Details

AWS, Microservices, Java 11, design & architecture, leading edge development, learn and grow.

Are you a Java Developer who is attracted by all, or most of the statements above?

Big Red are working with an exciting, dynamic and busy global organisation who are taking full advantage of leading-edge technologies. If you like to learn and play with new, emerging technologies, this is a very, very good place to be.

Youll be building enterprise web services with a microservices architecture. Youll be involved in analysis, design, test and implementation in an Agile environment. Theres a strong technical roadmap which will challenge and inspire the team, ensuring the company is at the cutting edge of IT web services.

The tech stack is Java 8 & 11 with Spring MVC utilising a lot of AWS. You will work with, and get exposure to, a very broad range of systems and technologies.

The team is staffed with bright, innovative and creative technologists who are suited to working in complex engineering environments where they are breaking new ground and solving problems every day.

Although global they have a great company culture. Alongside the bonus scheme you will receive a comprehensive benefits package which is pretty much one of the best I've seen. They are brilliant at making you feel special and ensure you continue to develop your skills - its an important part of what they do. You are actively encouraged to investigate new and emerging technologies.

If this sounds of interest and you are looking for a new challenge you will need some appropriate skills.

Must have:

* Strong Java 8 coding experience
* Spring MVC (emphasis on RESTful web services/API)

If this sounds of interest and you would like to learn more, please either send a copy of your CV or call for more information - Jonathan Taylor 01789 269 677.
