An interim Payroll Manager opportunity with full ownership (and managing 2 x Payroll Assistants) of the in-house monthly Payroll.

Description
The Payroll Manager (Interim - ADP Freedom) involves:
Accurate computation of the monthly payroll on time, incorporating enhancements and overtime, commissions and incentives.
Preparation of the payroll in the format proscribed by the Head of Finance (banking, ledger codes).
Maintenance of all internal control information (e.g. starters & leavers, gross pay reconciliations)
Preparation of any additional management information reporting (e.g. overtime and bank analyses)
Timely completion of all relevant payroll control account information.
Maintenance of effective liaison with HMRC and with the various pensions' agencies. Essential that the payroll manager remains fully briefed on all current developments.
Outreach role to the organisation, with effective liaison with key staff teams.
Responsible for comprehensive working knowledge of the payroll system and for ensuring effective liaison with both internal and supplier IT/systems leads.
Responsible for complying with all relevant reporting requirements to HMRC.
As directed by the Head of Finance, responsible for the preparation of relevant elements of the annual accounts.
Responsible for the effective management and training of 2 x Payroll Assistants
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Manager (Interim - ADP Freedom) role will;
MUST HAVE ADP FREEDOM EXPERIENCE
have worked as a Payroll Manager previously
have managed staff previously
have improved and automated payroll processesJob Offer
The Payroll Manager (Interim - ADP Freedom) is offering £45-55,000 per annum (possibly up to £60,000 for the ideal candidate).
The role will be office based for at least 3 days per week, with 2 days working from home.
