Behaviour Mentor / Learning Support Assistant
Secondary alternative provision
After Easter holidays (April 19th, 2021)
Daily rate of £70 - £85 (depending on experience)
One-to-one pupil learningTimePlan Education are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor / Learning Support Assistant to work in a secondary alternative provision based in West London. The role is a long-term, full-time opportunity. The candidate will be responsible for one-to-one learning support, mentoring, progress coaching, behaviour reports and positive encouragement. The pupils have emotional and behavioural difficulties, meaning that the ideal candidate will be able to support them emotionally and socially, as well as with their academics.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties
Ability to engage and support pupils with their learning
Supervising and monitoring pupils' behaviour
Progress coaching and one-to-one sessions
Liaising with staff and parentsBenefits to you
Excellent rates of pay £70-£85 a day (dependent on experience)
Full-time, long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate

Available full-time (5 days a week) and committed to their job
Ability to stay calm and de-escalate challenging behaviour

Experience working with challenging behaviour is desirable
