The Government has announced a paid work & skills experience programme for young people aged 16-24 & are currently claiming Universal Credit. It is called the "Kickstart Programme" & it will support young people to build experience and hopefully move into sustained employment after completion.
What are we looking for?
You will be supporting the Finance Manager in a very busy department and will complete tasks as seen below:
Providing support to our Finance Manager, you will provide key support to our site finance function. Supporting with completing month end tasks around site overheads including reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments Liaising with site management to ensure weekly and period reporting is completed accurately and within timescales set. What you need to succeed:
Analytical and good with numbers with the ability to perform under pressure and meet short deadlines. Previous experience of working in MS Excel is vital as you will use it on a daily basis. An ability to work accurately under pressure is essential. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
