Job Details

The role of the ISO Management Systems Specialist will be to ensure that the client meets its obligations with regards to ISO Certifications and commitments.

The Specialist will also be expected to create (where necessary) process manuals and maintain these as required and to review and maintain process manuals that are already in place.

Ensure the objectives and requirements for ISO management system certifications are followed in accordance with ISO and internal requirements. Currently these are:
ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Maintain all related documents such as the risks and assets registers with regards to ISO certifications
Identify any concerns i.e. possible non conformities and to work with relevant stakeholders to put measures in place to rectify these concerns
Ensure controlled documents are generated in accordance with current approved templates
Manage the change control system - e.g. document updates, version control
Oversee KPI data to manage the review of systems
Ensure all controlled documentation are stored & archived correctly
To maintain and improve the documented management systems
Organise, oversee and conduct internal audits and participate in external audits
To proactively support internal stakeholders with upcoming audit requirements
Communicate the results of internal and external audits to departments and the business & provide support to these areas for achieving the required result in areas of non-conforms
To ensure regular communications are made to the business about QMS, EMS & ISMS
To provide support during regulatory inspections (if and when necessary)
To liaise with relevant Head Office functions where necessary to obtain support in order to meet ISO requirements
To maintain and deliver ISO training to employees as necessitated by the business and ISO certifications
To liaise with all functions to ensure processes within each area have been captured in the form of Department Manuals
To liaise with internal stakeholders where Manuals are missing, incomplete or out-of-date & ensure a current Manual is createdProfile

Degree level educated
Extensive knowledge & experience in ISO 27001/information security
A good level of knowledge in ISO 9001/quality management and ISO 14001/ environmental management, compliance & documentation management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience within logistics or a regulated industry - desired
Aptitude for researching information
Persuasive skills and ability to ensure completion of tasks
Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to work with internal & external key stakeholders
Ability to read and interpret ISO standardsJob Offer

Sal - £40,000
