The role of the Client Service Account Director is a senior position within the organisation, and provides both hands on leadership of both existing and new business, as well as those that sit within the Client Services team. It is a role that is hugely varied in duties and scope, and is pivotal to the ongoing maintenance and development of strong and new relationships.
The primary purpose of the Client Service Account Director is to be a trusted partner to the organisation's clients and deliver exceptional client services to existing and new clients. In your role you will oversee all aspects of account management, including building and maintaining client relationships, planning, advice, team management and organic client growth. You will work directly with, and as part of, the Senior Leadership Team as well as work closely with senior leaders within the business's clients.
In your role you will work as a key point-of-contact for clients and provide advice as a trusted advisor, whilst delegating appropriate tasks to other members of the Client Service team. In addition to this you can expect to;
Support the Client Service Director with project implementation and new business opportunities, including planning, writing proposals, fee estimates, client onboarding, and hyper-care support
Complete data analysis ahead of key client meetings, such as business reviews Develop presentations for key client meetings, such as business reviews and onboarding training
Understand electronic approval systems used by our clients, and keep up-to-date with new functionality that may benefit our clients
Liaise between the client and the medical review team to ensure the client receives the service they have been promised and to resolve any issues in a timely manner
Oversee fee reconciliations at the end of each month, in collaboration with the finance department
Work with the finance department to resolve any queries related to fee reconciliations and invoicing
Ensure master service agreements, statements of work and purchase orders are in place
Oversee the execution of deliverables by the Account Managers, where necessary
Support with ad-hoc requests and tasks, as they arise
To be considered for this role our client is looking for talent that is able to bring senior client service experience, who is solutions-orientated and puts the client at the heart of everything they do. The primary purpose of the role is to be a partner with the Client Service Director and our clients and to deliver excellence by leading by example. In addition to delivering high levels of satisfaction and seeking out new business opportunities as the main senior point of contact.
The focus is on ensuring smooth running of the business and accountability for meeting objectives of the clients both strategically and financially. You would be seen as a key ambassador for the company and it's values. The ability to multi-task, learn, adapt, prioritise and collaborate to deliver in an efficient and professional manner is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel) and competency in maths/data analysis are essential. Experience in MedComms / PromoMats, Medical communications or similar is desirable.
