Senior North American Property Broker Back Up Technician Job, City, Salary up to £70,000, for Lloyd's Broker

Your new job as a Senior North American Property Broker Back Up Technician, will be working for a Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. Due to continued successful growth within the North American and International division, they are looking to recruit an experienced t North American Property Broker Back Up Technician to join their successful team.

Your new role

Your new job working as a Senior North American Property Broker Back Up Technician means you will be responsible for transactional broking and Technical broker back-up and support functions on key strategic NA and Canadian Line slips and Binding Authorities. Preparing Client and London market documentation to a high standard. Obtaining quotes from key markets. You will handle the day-to-day running of the facilities (key strategic Canadian Line slips and Binding Authorities) and assist with processing through internal broker systems as required. Working with the broking team to prioritise workload and query any missing or incorrect content, as well as liaising extensively with Underwriters and clients and attending any client meetings as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working in as a Senior Broker Beck Up Technician handling Property risks, ideally Open Market and/pr wordings, binders and facilities business will contribute to your success in securing this role. As a focal point for facility day-to-day placement and broker support, you will have previous experience creating slips for market submissions (familiar with clauses, wording and regional risks that should be included e.g. Californian earthquake risk), as well as experience preparing submission for Market. You will also have the ability to prepare accurate Client and London market endorsements, adjustments and renewal documentation.
