Hays Education are recruiting for a Year 3 Teacher for a job in a two form entry school in the South of Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity as the school is rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted. This warm and welcoming school, is academically challenging, with a particular focus on the core and foundation subjects whilst improving physical and mental wellbeing of both students and staff. The senior leadership have been in place for many years and they pride themselves on offering all staff the opportunity for personal development with plenty of training throughout the academic year. Your New Job

As the job is in a OUTSTANDING school, the school wants to keep their education standards high meaning that experience teaching year 1 is essential to be a successful candidate. You will be encouraging, teaching, and mentoring 30 students with support from a Teaching Assistant (LSA) at all times. For planning, you will receive half a day a week for PPA time. As this Bristol school is a 2 form entry school, planning will be shared with the second year 1 teacher, meaning that you must have excellent communication skills with the ability work affectively within a team.
