Full-time KS2 Interventions Teaching Assistant job in Bristol, BS9. Starting in Term 5 until end of July 2021.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with Intervention experience. An exciting opportunity to join a fantastic primary school with a great community presence. Your new role

You will be working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups running intervention sessions for pupils for literacy and numeracy and you will need to demonstrate your experience of this. You will plan and deliver the interventions, for phonics and numeracy groups and take responsibility for identifying any pupils that need additional support. As part of your role you will communicate with the class teacher and record these sessions to ensure pupils progression.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will need to have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • You will need to be enthusiastic, professional and patient.
  • You will need to have recent classroom experience.
